Dakota Cassidy is so good at writing stories that are laugh out loud funny at times. Since this is the 9th installment in the "Accidental" series, it should be getting old, but it's not. The Accidental Dragon is an entertaining and quick read- some of my favorite attributes in a Friday night reading session. Tessa and Mick are childhood friends who have been in love with each other since they were kids, but have been hiding it their whole lives (I'm also a sucker for a friends to lovers story). As a result of the unrequited tension, they argue and fight which leads to some comedic moments.

Though you'd be missing out if you don't read the previous 8 books, you could probably read this book as a standalone.

I might be biased since Dakota is now my boo, it was a secret adoption and she doesn't know about it yet. I loved this book. Seriously the whole falling in love with your brother's bff is sorta my fetish. Dragon eggs and demons just did it for me. If you don't appreciate snark and sass just walk away. To anyone else with an intact funny bone, buy this book.
This whole series is awesome I just could not stop reading.I started with one book loved it so I bought the whole series 💖.
I love love love theses books. I can't wait for them to come out. This one was little different that no one was had a bite to turn .. In this one unjust take something for a headache that is the wrong stuff.. The whole gang is back is this one with some of the other accidental paranormals from there books. Nina is in rare form as always.. So if u like funny tense and some stuff that makes u cry then read all here books. They r great.
The Acknowledgements sounded eerily like a Goodbye Accidental Series!! OMGOSH I hope not!! This is the ONLY series that can make you laugh and cry at the same time!! We've seen werewolves, vampires, hybrids, werecats, demons, genies and now dragons!! I LOVE this series!! I'll need meds if this is it!! If you haven't read the series, RUN OUT AND BUY IT!! You'll wonder what took you so long!!!!
One of my favorite new authors. Dakota writes with humor, a bit of irreverence, and plots that defy the reader to guess the ending correctly. I have a perfect record of guessing wrong EVERY single time .. but I'm always pleased with the outcome. Her treatment of the paranormal is fun .. not glory or vulgar. And the sex scenes .. WHEW!! Hot, hot, hot! All in all, any book by Ms. Cassidy is one you will enjoy.
The entire Accidental Series has been a joy to read. Wonderful stories with excellent characters, I do love Nina. My only true critic is that the few sex scenes are a bit over the top, for this 68 year old, long time married male. I do hope the series continues, the growing "family" of new characters keeps any hint staleness away. I would love to read of Nina breaking a fang on a gargoyle.

I have to say that this is my favorite out of the series. Loved how we got to catch up on past characters, how they came together for Tessa and Mick. The premise with the dragons was very interesting. The whole idea of Tessa laying an egg was funny. Some of the dialog is a bit snarky but at 5 he end of the day these characters would give their lives for each other. This was a very enjoyable and satisfying read.
